Day 1

Arrive to Arusha

Arusha is a city located in northern Tanzania, East Africa. It is the capital of the Arusha Region and serves as the gateway to several popular tourist destinations, including national parks and wildlife reserves. Arusha is situated at the foot of Mount Meru, the second-highest mountain in Tanzania after Mount Kilimanjaro.

Arusha has a temperate climate with mild temperatures throughout the year. The city’s elevation contributes to its pleasant weather. The town is surrounded by lush greenery and is known for its beautiful landscapes. The nearby national parks and reserves are rich in biodiversity.

Day 2

Materuni Waterfall and Coffee Tour

Materuni Waterfall and Coffee Tour is a popular excursion in Tanzania, allowing visitors to explore the lush landscapes, experience local culture, and indulge in the flavors of Tanzanian coffee. Materuni is a village located near Moshi, at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, and the tour typically includes a visit to the Materuni Waterfall and a coffee farm. This tour is an excellent way to combine adventure, cultural immersion, and a sensory journey through the world of coffee in the beautiful setting of Materuni near Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 3

Tarangire Game Drive

A Tarangire Game Drive is a safari experience within Tarangire National Park in Tanzania, known for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. Tarangire is the sixth-largest national park in Tanzania, and it is particularly famous for its large elephant population and the scenic Tarangire River. Tarangire National Park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, and a game drive provides an opportunity to observe animals in their natural habitat. Apart from elephants, the park is known for its large concentrations of wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, and impalas.

Day 4

Serengeti ½ Day Game Drive

A Serengeti Game Drive is a quintessential safari experience in Africa’s most iconic and renowned wildlife reserve, the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The Serengeti is known for its vast grasslands, diverse ecosystems, and the spectacular annual migration of wildebeest and other herbivores.

Serengeti Full Day Game Drive

The Serengeti is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, including the “Big Five” (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhinoceros) as well as numerous other species such as cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, and an abundance of birdlife.

Vast savannas, acacia-dotted plains, and rocky outcrops characterize the Serengeti. The landscapes provide a stunning backdrop for wildlife photography and create a sense of awe as you explore the expansive wilderness.

Day 6

Serengeti Full Day Game Drive with Balloon Safari Option (*additional fees)

A Serengeti Balloon Safari is a unique and exhilarating way to experience the vast landscapes and wildlife of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. This type of safari offers participants a bird’s-eye view of the iconic Serengeti, allowing them to witness the stunning scenery and wildlife from the serene vantage point of a hot air balloon.

Ngorongoro Crater Full-day Game Drive

A Ngorongoro Crater game drive is an extraordinary safari experience within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in Tanzania, specifically exploring the Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World” due to its stunning landscapes and rich biodiversity. The Ngorongoro Crater is a massive volcanic caldera formed by the collapse of a giant volcano. It is approximately 610 meters (2,000 feet) deep and covers an area of about 260 square kilometers (100 square miles).

The crater is a haven for wildlife, and its enclosed nature creates a natural amphitheater for observing animals. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to diverse species, including lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinoceros, wildebeest, zebras, and birdlife. You can spot the “Big 5” at the Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 9

Maasai Boma Visit / Lake Manyara National Park

You will get the opportunity to visit the Massai Tribe. Historically, the Maasai have been semi-nomadic, moving their bomas to different locations in search of fresh pasture for their cattle. This traditional lifestyle is integral to the Maasai identity, and while some Maasai have adopted more settled lifestyles, others continue their nomadic practices.

A Maasai boma refers to a traditional homestead or dwelling place of the Maasai people, an ethnic group primarily inhabiting parts of Kenya and Tanzania. The Maasai are known for their distinctive culture, clothing, and pastoral way of life. The term “boma” is Swahili for an enclosed area, and it is commonly used to describe the circular thorn-fence structures that make up a Maasai homestead.

After visiting the Massai Boma, we will explore Lake Manyara National Park.
Lake Manyara National Park is a scenic and diverse wildlife reserve in northern Tanzania at the base of the Rift Valley escarpment. The park is known for its striking landscapes, diverse ecosystems, and abundant birdlife.

Day 10

Mount Kilimanjaro Day Trip

A day trip to Mount Kilimanjaro involves exploring the lower slopes of the mountain exploring the lush rainforest zone. The rainforest is known for its rich biodiversity, with various plant and animal species. Mount Kilimanjaro, located in Tanzania, is the highest peak in Africa and a popular destination for trekkers and adventurers.
